Anyone know where I can find the specs on the "Economy" mode of the Allison 3000 in my 2007 CC Inspire?

Craig,

If you go to Allison Transmissions' website you can get all the specs you want for the 3000MH. There is one specific section for commercial transmissions, and when you click it, go to the 3000MH. IT lists gear ratios, max RPMs, etc.

Martin, I was on their web site, but could not find what you refer to. I'm not really interested in the spec data, only the shift differences in the Standard mode and the Economy mode. It's all in the software somewhere.

I am going on memory but I believe 'Econo Mode' will hold the gear you are in for about 50-75 RPM lower.
The other trick is to learn when to take it out of 'cruise' as you approach the low end of that gear range and just hold the accelerator in position, like when you're approaching a moderate hill.
The ultimate goal is, once on the road, keep her in 6th. This is especially useful in rolling terrain, holding 6th, rather than 5th-6th-5th-6th, etc.
