Generator battery switch

Hello again, CC #6004 42 affinity with tag, all electric
Lately I have been contemplating installing a manual battery switch to my generator.
My generator cranks off of the house batteries. When boondocking, they can get down a bit further than I would like, and then I have to use battery boost to start up the generator. That means I am connecting two charged batteries to four discharged batteries just to start up the generator.
It seems to me a simple battery switch to allow me to switch between house and chassis might not be such a bad thing.

I wonder what your thoughts are on this.
