Generator not charging

Dry camping in Waterton, Alberta, CA and my generator while running all 110v it is not charging the batteries.

Any thoughts from the lower 48?

Check all of your battery and ground connections to make sure they are clean and tight. Also check the breakers on both the generator and the inverter. Good luck.

Bill,

First make sure the generator is actually putting out electricity by checking the breaker on the front of the generator. You have to look at the front of the generator to see if that is flipped.
Next go back to the Xantrac interver and you will find a little white pop out breaker with a black button around it located on the upper right side of the front of it where the power cables hook up to it. If it is popper out then push it in so it is flush with the side.

On Magnum inverters it is located on the bottom middle side.
One of these items are probably the reason for your charging problem other than loose batter cables.....but then again you probably could not have started the generator if that was the problem
