Hydraulic Pump ID??

Yahoo Message Number: 74594
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can identify this pump:

http://muniac.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=18975398&AlbumKey=kh2TZb Also, does anyone know of a source for a replacement? Have any of the Allure owners used a substitute pump. Many thanks in advance for input.

I'm in the throws of doing a wet kit upgrade. If my pump is OK then it's an easy job. If the pump's spline is chewed up, I'd like to have a new one ready to go to avoid dragging out the repair.

Hi Scott,

It's my understanding that the pumps are made to order only and are very expensive! It's a simple matter of removing the two mounting bolts and sliding the pump slightly to the front of the coach (maybe 2 inches) and you can see the condition of the splines. Took me all of 15 minutes to check mine. That way you'll know what you have before you start. Just a thought.

Barney,

Thanks for your suggestion. I hope we don't need to replace the pump.
