My experiences in Junction City (long) El Duro, Premier RV, Davis Ca

Dropped our new (to us) coach in Junction City for upgrades after an earlier trip down there to check out the services available. We only went down there for about 3 cabinet modifications which I had already decided on having Davis Cabinets perform. Easy
After our initial trip we decided to do the entire upgrades we were going to complete in another year or two.
#1) El Duro: Completely took care of the cosmetics and a few cracks where the top front cap meets the body; Steve and Julio were fantastic again and not only met, but exceeded my expectations. I've written about them before. Check previous posts. Their attention to detail is excellent and being extremely picky myself, they are like-minded. Completely retouched up the flaws, scratches, and cracks; re-polished the entire coach. Excellent job once again guys.
#2) Premier RV: Removed old carpet, tile, and valences to be recovered. Had 4 windows with bad seals and upon further inspection, found 10 windows in need of new sealing. Also found some slide seals that had never been properly done and fixed. The new tile flooring with heat mats is not only pretty, but so nice on the feet in the cool mornings. Wouldn't do it without since I'm a wimp when it comes to cold feet. They were even able to do bull nose around the slide cover so now only carpet on the top of slide. Nice surprise since we didn't expect to have tile there. New carpet on the slides, closet, and cabinets. Complete engine, tag axel, and system check. Gary and Susan went totally out of their way to be receptive to my ideas and time-line. I HAD to leave Junction City in 4 weeks with everything done. They orchestrated the other installers to see that it got done.
#3) Davis Cabinets: completed the original 3 cabinet mods we wanted in addition to the cabinets around the TV/stereo (more on that with Innovative Coach Works below). In addition, remodeled the cabinet by table to accommodate printer, computer, file cabinet, and various other "wishes" Re-polished the Corian and looks brand new. All the work was top notch and only slightly behind schedule (minor - 2 days); but worth waiting for the excellent craftsmanship by Shaun.
#4) Innovative Coach Works: upgraded the satellite to HD and replaced the TVS, receiver with blue ray, as well as integrated a Mac mini into the system to act as our server and uses the TV as the monitor, if wanted. Also included our Wi, which Jen uses for her exercises, into the system and uses the TV monitor as well. The stereo cabinet (with new faceplate) looks naked (and perfect) with only 3 boxes and the two additions of the small Mac and Wi. All fully functional with a single remote which functions PERFECTLY - finally, an entertainment center that works the way I expected them to do for the last 15 years!!!! Matt is a pleasure to work with as well and very knowledgable; also suggested and I added, the new Silverleaf to the dash and ditched the old piece of ***t Pioneer in dash GPS and receiver, CD, etc for a new Kenwood GPS, etc. Very nice replacement and very nice installation in all areas; neat tidy and intuitive. Had the faceplate replaced with burl walnut instead of the old black ugly stuff that was there.
#5) Interior Creations: (not my area) but Julie and Jeff are a real blast to deal with and a fun couple. Jen, my SO worked with them on the fabrics, etc. They did the recovering work on the valences, dining chairs, headboard, and one of the couches. Everything completed (almost on-time) and a wonderful product. They are truly great people.
#6) Spent a day and a little more with Kevin Waite and Mike at River Bend Rv after everything was done; I already commented on his expertise and knowledge, so refer to that post. Except to say his followup to that meeting was excellent. I truly enjoy his working solutions and knowledge.
So, I warned you this was long, but covers it all. For once in my life after many, many house projects, boats, and other "stuff", I can actually say that all of the work met or exceeded my expectations (mine are high), was on-time, and close to the budget ( I was advised immediately if the cost estimate changed - like the windows). Finally a pleasant experience in a world that often times just "gets by"

Thanks for sharing your experience. Good to hear the trend of your positive results.
I don't mind spending a fair amount for services provided. Good to have a short list of companies to consider for our future upgrades.

Best,
Smitty

We recently had Premier RV perform several repairs on our coach involving exhaust system work, Aqua-Hot pump replacement, paint work, a PTO wet kit, plus installation of Road King socks. To our great satisfaction everything was taken care of in only four days. About half of those four days was to allow for adequate prep and curing time for the paint. Gary O. orchestrated the work thru Jake's crew, even running for parts himself on occasion. Our hats off to Premier for their great and timely work! BTW, Louie and Susan have a great selection of very, very nice coaches.
