Water Heater Control Panel

Can anyone give me some info on the water Heater control Panel. Normally we are connected to shore power and heat with electric. A red light inbetween the selector buttons for propane and electric has come on today. I have searched the manuals and can't seem to find an answer. I do not have a clue. Help

I believe the red light illuminates when the burner fails to ignite. bill inspire 51166

Tom,

Bill is correct the light indicates the burner did not light. Many time recycling the switch will cause the burner to light if not check the tube that goes into burner, dirtdobbers love to build nest in them. You might also disconnect the plug from circuit board several times to clean contacts. Hope you get it going, let us know.

Follow-up to water heater problem. Everything seems to be working now. Thanks to Kevin Waite for calling and offering help. What a great guy and resource. I cycled the propane and electric switches several times. Just a note we did have a day of rain, don't know if something in the outside hatch got damp, but warning light has been out for a day and we have hot water.
Thanks again for those who responded Tom Coomes
