Winterize????

Have drained all lines, water heater, and blown out all lines.
Question? How do we deal with the washer dryer and the ice maker in the frig? Cannot figure out how to deal with these two items.

I can't answer your question in detail but just to confirm that it needs to be done. We store our motorhome at a large dealers facility. I asked for, and paid for, winterisation this time last year when it went into storage. They charged me but never done it!!!!! As a result we had a complete failure of our water system. Had to install new everything. Including water pump, ice maker lines etc etc. Even plastic elbows and joiners split. So if your asking for an opinion rather than just the 'how to' then do whatever it takes to get every drop of water out of the system.
By the way we store our motorhome south of Fort Worth so we're not talking BIG freezes.

I remove the ice maker solenoid and just drain the water from the ice maker line, if you want to keep the solenoid in the unit, apply voltage to the solenoid to energize it and apply compressor pressure to blow out the water.
I apply pressure to the water system at the city water inlet connection while cycling the washer through it's cycles, that removes the water from the machine, I then pour rv antifreeze into the traps behind the washer. I have done this for several years with no freeze ups.

In addition I leave all the drain valves for for fresh, hot, and cold water left open in the plumbing bay.. I have a maine toilet so that's blown out and the valves opened to drain. I also leave all the fawcett valves open and the shower too. Make sure you drain your LP water heater if you have one, some folks inject anti freeze into the heaters storage tank. I never had too.

I pumped RV Antifreeze into my fresh water tank and ran water out the fridge dispenser till it turned pink, and ran the ice maker till I got pink in the ice tray.

Also ran a wash cycle in the Splendid.
It takes forever to flush the water dispenser to get all the pink rinsed out!

Wow, Bruce, I live in Waco and have never winterized a ny of our coaches. I leave the water heater on now, on electric and before propane, and run the furnace set at 50. Also, one winter we were in the mountains of North Carolina with temps in the low single digits and had no problems.

Tammy & Steve,
Pull out the instructions for operation of the Washer/dryer & refrig, I believe they will give info on how to get the water out.
