Paddle Door Handle fatigue failure on Front Door

Yahoo Message Number: 75814
Well, I had an interesting thing happen when attempting to open the front door and depart for a Thanksgiving trip on the Kern River. The paddle door handle top attach point (the one that leverages the door to unlatch) fatigue failed. I've posted some pics in the photo area under '92 Concept #4917, Paddle Door Handle. With this failure, the exterior door handle cannot extend against the spring pressure enough to unlatch the door opening mechanism. Oh, then I remember that since I just had it down having annual chassis maintenance in a not-so-great-part of Lancaster, CA, I had previously latched all window locks, which I normally leave one unlatched in case of emergencies like when the internal door handle previously failed disabling the front door. The good news was that my wife was in the RV and could open the door from the inside latch. So, I could go on the trip I removed the door unlatch mechanism and can pull down on the rod to unlatch the door. We're presently just dead bolting the RV; then, when returning, unlock the dead bolt, reach in to the rectangular hole that used to hold the paddle door handle, and pull down on the rod to unlatch.
Where I could use some help from the forum is: Does anyone know who manufactured these? The actual paddle door handle has a part number of "HP3227LH" on the back and the black plastic casing has part number of "HP3231LH" with no other legible marks. If I could find some, I'd like to buy three of them. I've noticed that there have been some GM parts on the coach. To size it, I'd guess the plastic case is about 2" x 6" with the latch itself about 2" x 2.5". I'd appreciate any leads if anyone knows who might have some salvaged paddle door handles like these. Thanks for any help you can provide!!
