Dead battery again..and a couple of other things

I had that problem with the chassis battery draining as well, once one of the the echo charger fuses was bad then later the green light was flashing and no one could figure out what the problem was.
Kevin Waite turned us on to a Magnum Smart Battery Combiner. Problem solved! now I'm able to leave my steps folded up properly without fear of draining the chassis battery by going in and out of the unit. (our coach is plugged into 30 amp shore power when here at home).
Now, if I could just figure out how to turn off the Satellite dish so it will stop searching without being told to....everything turned off, AV breaker off, but I can hear the thing turning and searching, especially when the coach engine is running (but still cold--for example the first 15 minutes after starting--and this is in cold weather. Doesn't do it in the summer--huh??).

Always some mystery to solve! At least we figured out the bedroom slide was sluggishly responding to the button--bad motor and yes I am glad we got an extended warranty, between that and the water heater tank leak this year, with one more $500 problem our warranty is paid for.
