Herb, Your a great moderator, We winter in Yuma and wish I were closer. We have several Country Coachs in our Country Roads RV Resort. Met one owner with a 2k Allure like ours. What rig do you have. Ken 99 Allure 30356. Life is Good!

I can sure understand your position, Ron, but from our way of looking at it, while traveling around, I can look at my CC file on my computer and see repair places all over the place that we can turn to for help if needed. If I don't need it, it's just filed away. I was glad to see it. Thanks.

Mary , Gil and All. The express Mission Statement of this forum is for CC owners and those wanting info , so they can be owners. This has come up before. Where does one draw the line on advertising ? There are hundreds of RV repair shops, and thousands of suppliers. We had one recently from a dealer selling a CC. Do you want that, as well ? If you start letting them in, the forum will be inundated. Is that what you want? Would you rather not , use the forum , for it's intended purpose, by putting out an inquiry and getting a response, from one or more members ? ( if you opened it up , all the dealers would be responding to you , and who can you then trust ) My guess is that Herb would hate it too, because his work load ( already significant ) would increase exponentially. Think about the ramifications of opening the forum up to other than what the mission statement has expressed!! But then again , maybe you could start such a forum and be the moderator. I , for one , would not be a member. Just , my humble opinion.

I am in Ron Baran's camp, misplaced commas aside.
I also agree with Ron that Herb would not allow it . . . he'd/we'd go nuts with the blizzard of ads.
Perhaps Herb could do the same thing he did with the Country Coach Clubs. Have all the vendors send their ads to Herb on the 25th. He'd compile them and then do one post at the start of the month.

Worked nicely for the clubs, wouldn't you all say?

I am also glad to hear of potential sources for assistance: but, agree it can be abused. I don't know how many owners have been help by Kevin Waite responding that he has access to particular part.
