Battery Charging on the road

On my new to me 5 months Allure, I have a Freedom 458 2500 which charges the house bank, and a Blue Sea Bluelink ACR which split charges the chassis bank when on shore power. When on the road does the alternator charge the chassis bank and then charge back to the house bank via the Bluelink? ie it is bi-directional? If not does anyone know if the house bank is charged on the road and how?
