Norcold replacement

First and mostly I wold like to thank this group for possibly saving our lives. We bought our coach 2 1/2 yrs ago not knowing anything about a recall fix on the Norcold. I stumbled on to this forum by accident and have been on it every since. This is where I found out about the recall. We had the work done while in AZ last winter, and have never had a problem until last week. The norcold was not operating. After posting on the forum and talking to Kevin Waite, we discovered that the recall did its job and did prevent a fire. The section of the fridge that has the insulation wrapped around it was so hot I could not put my hand on it. A fire was going to be the next step. So thanks again for all the input.
We have found and will be ordering the Samsung RF197ACRS today. Sears has them for 1399.00 less 5% if I use their credit card. Free delievery will take until July 15, but I can wait. In the mean time the Norcold will be coming out and heading to the trash pile We will be doing the work ourselves. It dosen't seem like an impossible job, just a little time consuming to take the time to do it right.
