Water in Fuel Light

1) I have a "Water in Fuel" light upon startup. Its been going on for awhile even though I have replaced and later drained the fuel filter. It goes away after things warm up. No apparent issues other than the light. Does anyone know where the sensor is or is there another drain.

2) My exhaust brake occasionally fails to engage. I have determined that hitting the foot feed and releasing it sharply then causes it to function. Where would that contact be? Is it a physical switch or?

I recently had the same warning light and replaced BOTH filters, after which the light was off.

The water in fuel light is usually tripped by a sensor at the base of the primary fuel filter. Check the bowl and see if it has any water in it. Also Biofuel has been known to absorb some water and cause the light to activate.
