The month of July, I experienced two blowout on my '99 Intrigue. The first was on the front passenger side. There was no damage to the fiberglass because it ripped out about 30 wires from two wire harnesses (which were UNPROTECTED). I do not understand why all these wires were not protected. I spent about 4 days tracing wires and then spent $500 for a repair shop to finish the job and installed a piece of angle iron to protect these wires. The 2nd blowout was the inside rear, same side a week later. We believe this one was caused by running over the debris of the first.

Suggest you check the wheel wells.

You can't protect against blowouts. I've seen a blowout take out an entire inside bedroom room closet and do $15,000 worth of damage. The best protection is to replace the tires at 5 years of age. Thats when the problems start. Check the date code on the tires, they may be older then you think. Also if you purchased the coach used the former owner may not have used the right air pressure which will reduce tire life but don't blame damage to your wiring on CCI. If you get a front blowout it will take out an electric panel.
