Slide Toppers on 2008 Allure Sunset Bay Quad Slide
After some storms yesterday I have noted that the cover topper on my front driver side slide is very loose flapping quite excessively! I am unsure as to how to correct this. It, like 2 other toppers, has an articulated aluminium truss structure underneath which on the 2 rear toppers creates a taut cover, but this front one is not doing the same job although appears simarly set; but I will check with a rule later when the rain stops. How can I adjust the tension of the fabric?
Equally of interest I do not have a similar support structure on the passenger front slide, it has just the fabric? Anyone know the reason for this and do others have the same or different assembies?

Mike - You might find this helpful: http://www.muniac.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=111#Post111 The aluminum is a half baked effort to shed water off the awning toppers. It works half way. The brackets also can rip holes in the canvas. We removed this stuff, cut it up and threw it in the dumpster. The passenger side slide doesn't have the room for this system. Good luck.
