Fixing a Small Run

Yahoo Message Number: 83250
Hi,

I had gotten a small run/sag in my trim paint job. I needed to let the clear coat harden for several days before repairing this. Here are the steps I went through to fix the problem:

http://www.muniac.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=126&page=2 Basically sanding with increasing multiple grits followed by a rubbing compound. Took about 30 minutes and eliminated the paint flaw. Don't feel badly about getting runs in a paint job. It happens to the pros too from time to time. Just 3 more slides to fix now.

Best - Scott
