Dometic NDR1292 Cooling problem

I've a Dometic 1292 that I can't get the temp set correctly. There is a temp control on the fin in the frig and I need to know what fin to put it for max efficent cooling. I will be replacing the unit this spring. Thanks, John 2003 Allure 30951

Mine is on the furthest right fin. The higher you slide the temp control, the cooler it gets.
