2003 Magna Windshield

Trying to get all my little (and not so little) issues vetted.
My windshield gasket is dry-rotted and coming apart. I can see a center post between the windshields at the bottom and it appears to be corroded. Is this center post structurally a part of the coach body or is it a part of the windshield gasket?

Center post is part of the coach. Mine had a little surface rust. No big deal. My gasket on pass. side is older than yours and it is not dry rotted. That rubber is pretty resistant.

Thanks for the info Rich. Mine is split and coming apart at the center from top to bottom. Pretty sure my coach sat in the sun on a lot near Dallas, Tx for three years or so before I bought it. Overall we've been very happy with it but with my work schedule I don't have the time to take care of little odds and ends that it needs and my success with rv repair shops has been less than stellar.
