No tail or brake lights

Yahoo Message Number: 85056
Leaving Candlestick Park after a great 49er game and tailgate party we lost tail, brake, clearance and dash lights. Looked all over for a fuse box, didn't see but has to be one right? Was able to drive home with hazard lights . (Headlights work) I've been monitoring this forum for years, learned a lot and seems like I have friends I've never met.

Happened to me last year at night with my 04 inspire and I had to replace the smart wheel controller to fix it as all my lights feed through it. Don't know on an 04 magna if that applies but thought I would mention it anyway.

Craig,

What you have lost is more than a fuse. Each of those functions has its' own fuse. The circuits you are looking for should be under your drivers chair in the forward, electric bay. There is a relay that is supplies power to a runn buss bar. That is where I would look for the missing power.

Good luck

Craig,

I had the same thing happen to me and it was the headlight switch. It has a varible resistor on it that controls the brightness of the dash lights and it had burned up. The switch was out of a 1975 or so chevy truck.
