Danger! Reverse Polarity! Message

Yesterday, out of nowhere, the "motorhome voice" started telling me "Danger! Reverse Polarity!" The motorhome has been parked in the same place inside for over a month hooked up to a 50 amp service at our home. Unknown how long the "voice" had been talking! The 50 amp service has been in existance for 8 years. The only thing different might be that we have have had cold rainy weather. Does anyone have any thoughts or similar experiences? The auto-power surge guard HW RV-50 "caution when illuminated" light is on when plugged in.

Jeff,

Did you ever find out why you got this message? We just got the same message. We are connected to 50 amp service. Everything was still working, but we immediately unplugged and fired up the generator. Everything seems to be working fine....
