Hello Fred. We happen to be in Gulf Shores for the winter. Below are some suggestions with phone numbers and websites. The length of your stay will determine site availability. We are staying at Island Retreat which is about a mile from the Gulf as the crow flies and two miles driving. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

All of these parks are close to the Gulf, shopping, restaurants and attractions.

Fred,

We have stayed at Bella Terra several times. About a 10 min car ride to the beach but a wonderful resort. The spaces are very large compared to others in the area. Everything is very close.

This isn't the first recommendation for Heritage but may provide the second "Thumbs Up". We have parked there several times and appreciate all the park offers. It is located in a very quiet area, beach front slots often available, no crowding, quality amenities and supportive staff.

I have stayed at Belle Terre in Foley (just outside Gulf Shores) and it is very nice and very convenient. Even nicer, IMHO, is Heritage which is also more expensive. Another nearby spot is Lake Osprey RV Resort - more remote but right on a golf course. All three are beautiful first class resorts.
