Sorry, hit the wrong key!

Looking for travel information from RVer's with knowledge of North East. We want to travel to North East in the next 2-3 weeks to see fall color and go to Bar Harbor. Any information on campgrounds & availability, and roads for a travel in an Allure 36 foot with toad would be appreciated.

Thanks
Dick

We were there this summer and thought the local KOA was nice.

I'll be traveling through Maine, NH and Vermont in the next few weeks. E-mail me after 10/8 and I'll be in a position to let you know.

Campgrounds that we have enjoyed are Aces High in East Lyme, CT, and Shore Hills in Boothbay, Maine. Better check all campgrounds in advance to make sure they are open. Narrows Too in Bar Harbor is a bit expensive but nice also. Our favorite place is Boothbay, because you can do one day trips to the mountains, Bar Harbor, Freeport, Kennebunkbort, etc. Or you can just enjoy the weather, sights, and seafood in Boothbay Harbor. We spent 10 days there this summer after the York, Pa rally.

Dick:

We're now in Halifax, after traveling Eastward through Canadian Provinces + Maritimes, etc.

We're now heading back into USA, including Bar Harbor, Maine.
If you're continuing into Quebec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, etc.
If I can be of some tour help let me know.
We did not venture into New Foundland however.
We will be in Bar Harbor next week (approx. Oct.1st) ....will look and say HI if we see you there...

We rented out our Calif.home and began fulltiming 3 months ago...
So far, all is / has been going well....
