Which Tire Pressure Monitor Systems?

I've had one system, the TST 510, for 5 years that has been used for the two coaches I've owned and don't feel qualified to recommend one system over another. I'm very happy with this system.
Last year I replaced all of the sensors when I lost signals as the batteries began dieing.
I have ten sensors, 6 on the coach and 4 on my Jeep Liberty toad. With my 36' Winnebago the short antenna on the receiver was adequate to receive the signals from all 10 sensors. With the system moved to my 40' Magna, I have to make use of the larger antenna to receive all signals reliably. The antenna is mounted near the top of the center windshield divider.
I full time and always leave the sensors installed on both motor home and toad. The toad tires were rebalanced with the sensors installed as I could feel a slight imbalance when I first installed the sensors. I learned the hard way to remove the sensors from the toad if I run it through a car wash.
Before I had the system, I ran over a couple of 2X4's and fearing they may have had nails in them I was stopping at every rest area for 300 miles checking for low tires. That experience convinced me to invest in the system. I like the assurance that my tires haven't developed a slow leak that may lead to a blowout.

Ed, Just this last week I purchased the tire tracker TPMS system with 12 sensors. In my research I found alot of the systems were the same, and in contacting these companies most were very slow in responding to my questions. Mr. Lawrence offered very prompt service and great personal support. When I made a mistake in the setup I emailed him and within 1 hours I had a response. I also like their 3 year warranity. The unit was ordered and 2 days later I had it. Check out their website www.tiretracker.com it answers alot of questions. So my only problem is I have not gone anywhere to use it yet. Godd luck.

I have had Pressure Pro for about 5 years and have found them to be very responsive to my questions. The product works as advertised.

Ed I also have had the Pressure Pro System for just about 6 years. They have been in business for a long time and give great support. I understand that the Pressure Pro System can be used with the Silver Leaf VMS 330 and I am considering using it which can replace the Pressure Pro screen on the dash area.
No experience with other systems.

I currently have the Silver Leaf Tire Monitor for the coach. Am I reading that you can remove the current tire monitor system.
Change to Pressure Pro and read not only the coach tire pressure, but also the tow vehicle tires or the Silver Leaf? I'm having a problem with one of the current monitors on the coach and they want $80 to replace it. that does not include removing the tire, deflating, installing and remounting back on.

I bought a Pressure Pro for coach and tow car in 2009. Lasted about two years before readings started to get erratic. One of my RV friends has had exactly the same experience. Good for two years then not reliable. I removed my Pressure Pro a few months back and now use no remote system. I do check the tire pressures when leaving on a trip.
So I give Pressure Pro a thumbs down. Their recommended fix was to replace all sensors. An lousy solution.

An issue with Pressure Pro could be that the batteries are active as long as screwed on the valve stems. I was told that if you remove them when you are in storage or not traveling they will last a lot longer. I put my on in November when I leave and take them off in early May when I return. I have had them now for about five years and they have worked well for me. It is sure nice to wake up in the morning and push the monitor button and know your tire pressure. Others out there surely provide the same convenience.

Yes it would be nice to have a tire pressure system that was accurate and reliable. In my personal experience I did not find Pressure Pro to be accurate and reliable for long. Last weekend we camped with another couple that had exactly the same experience.
I do not think removing all the sensors is an acceptable solution. More like a PITA.

Can anyone give me the name and phone number of the place that has all the replacement parts for coaches, I believe it is in Oregon. I need a part for my Braun-Concord bat wing antenna. Also my Moto-Sat dish no longer receives a Sat signal I guess because of my Nomad 2 receiver. How can I fix it so it works again. Thank you kindly. Barrie Boas, 94 Concept 5111
