Stop roof gel-coat from running down sides of coach

The white gel-coat on the roof of our 04 coach is oxidizing. When it rains or even some morning dew we get white streaks down all sides of the coach. I have wet sanded and power waxed the roof a couple of times but the treatment does not last.
Repainting the roof is an option but I have 6 solar panels and the associated wiring covering a lot of the roof so painting will be a chore.
My latest idea is to buy the stick on rain gutter (eze-rv gutter) and install it along the roof line where the painted roof matches the exposed gel-coat. My plan would be to put it along the front and both sides leaving the back of the roof open. My thought is it would create a dam forcing all of the runoff down the back of the coach.
Does anyone besides me think this is a good idea or should I just paint the roof?.

I did that years ago and it works like a charm. You cannot see the EZ gutter from the ground.
There is a ridge along both the front and rear caps. I left four gaps - - one on each corner - - for the water to channel off the roof.
I adjusted my "level" to be slightly nose high, encouraging the water to run to the rear openings.

Or, paint the roof.

I use 303 about three times a year and no white streaks at all. I tried the waxing the first year and it never lasted in the Florida sun. I wash my coach at least 6 times a year. About every other or third wash and after roof dries, I wipe down the roof with 303. Takes less than a quart and I apply it with a 1 quart pump up garden sprayer and a terry cloth shop towel attached to a mop head. Takes about 20 minutes to do entire roof including vent covers and sealsm sky light and AC covers. Available at Camping World by the quart or gallon.
I have a friend with an 02 Intrigue that did the Bus-Kote and is real pleased with it. No streaking. However, it does not last forever. The 303 is simply and allows me to keep up with any sealant issues without having to disturbe the Bus-Kote coatings.

We had the same problem on with our '03 LEXA. We fixed it. I use a cheap sponge mop and a pint or two of Mop & Glo. I re-apply this wax-like product annually. It's a 5 minute $12.00 job. Problem solved. Cheap and easy. When done just toss the mop. I don't go thru any big prep job either.... just slop it on your clean roof, spread it around. Done.
Don't put ANY on your side walls and shiny/beauty areas - only on the roof.
