Emergency Shut off Switch

Ok, so bought a 2003 Country Coach Intrigue in October (2013) for our retirement in January 2014. Last week I was washing the rig including the engine. Well when I was done I attempted to start the engine and it would turn over but not start. Figured that I must of hit the Emergency Shut off switch in the Engine compartment. After several attempts to pull the switch back into place, the red knob and components came off, the good news was that I could then start the engine and put the rig back into storage. I was in a hurry and will attempt to put the Emergency switch back together this weekend. Has anyone else had this happen and is this something that I will be able to do. There is a spring that runs along the shaft and a small pin that comes out of the shaft that also has a spring under it, forcing the small pin up. Will have a better understanding of what the inside of the box looks like this weekend. Any help would be appreciated.

I still smile at myself, when I was 'a bit concerned' about our engine turning over, but not starting. Was onto the forums for help, when I flashed back to the last time I was at the coach, I stood up on the Sterling Hitch, to lean inside the access door with a flashlight and 'cheater glasses' on - to get a part number off of the fan belt...

Yep, had bumped the Shut Off when leaning in...

Ours popped out without drama, and the engine fired up well...
Does not help you with your 'How to put back together...' task ahead, but wanted you to know you are not alone....
