Rubber bushings at radiator mounting 2007 Country Coach

Yahoo Message Number: 87872
I have read many posts concerning the radiator problem in country coach motorhomes, but I have never seen anything that talks about the large rubber bushings that are at the end of the rods connecting the radiator to the frame. My coach is a 2007 country coach. The radiator is in perfect condition. there are no cracks, it does not leak and there are no signs that it has ever leaked. All the welds are perfect and of high quality. My question is, is there any difference between my coach and all previous years? Were the rubber bushings always part of the installation?

Thank You

I think your radiator is the same as everyone that has a coach just some have not started to leak or may never leak. Mine was installed just before I got it, ordered from http://www.radiatorsupplyhouse.com/ads/radsupplyflyer12-08.pdf and shipped to Quinn Cat in Ca. with a total cost of $5400 one thing I did get was all the paper work on it, just one of many things out of the way.

We also have a 2007 Country Coach. I suspect CC made some changes to the radiator mounting and manufacturer around this time. Just after buying our CC I took it to Colton Truck Terminal who by their own admissions have changed hundreds of the problem radiators. They said they had never seen an aluminum radiator like mine. It was much "beefier" than anything they had ever seen. I believe most of the CC radiators were manufactured in or around Junction City OR. Mine has a sticker that shows it was built in Sacramento, CA by a company named Radiator Specialties Inc. Look on the coolant reservoir and see if you have a sticker there that shows who built the radiator. The part number should also be on the sticker.

We have over 61,000 miles with no problems so far. (Knock on wood!)
By the way, ours also has the rubber bushings installed not only on the rods but also on the mounting brackets above holding most of the weight.

Barney..

Thanks for the reply. I am also thinking that rubber bushings are an update made by country coach and they are both on the top and bottom. My radiator is over 6 inches wide They did know about the problem going way back to 2003. It would stand to reason (if that's possible) that they would make some adjustments.
I first found out about this radiator issue a few days ago and I have been reading until my eyes have crossed. I think I will call CC on Monday and talk to the service department. Their service manager is very knowledgeable and has been very patient with me. With the VIN and the coach # maybe I can get to the bottom of this.

You are most likely correct. I would still like to know if all country coach radiators going back to 2003 have the bushings. If so end of story

Thanks
