Washing hoses

Has anyone ever changed the washing machine hoses, because of their age? Although they do not get used like at the stick house, do they lose their strength over time? Thanks Dave

If you do replace the hoses, I would recommend the No Burst hose. It is a metal braided hose that guarentees it will not rupture.

Buy the hose now and carry it with you. A couple of weeks ago my washer sprung a leak and we called a mobile service to come take a look. He pulled the washer and found that one of the connecting rubber ends had a hole caused by rubbing against the metal cabinet. Of course the item was not in stock and so we had to reinstall the non functioning washer. ie wasted labor and service call. We then had to establish a location that we could have the part shipped to in our travels and then we did it again.
I just order the two thermostats for my C-9 CAT that I will be carrying with me since were are going into 13 years and they do wear out. I check three CAT dealers and none had both of the thermostats in stock. The two thermostats are different.
