Kingdome, Trac King replacement

I am looking for a good used dome.
I have a King Controls King-Dome, Trac-King model 9762-LP. It is not working. It hunts but, will not lock onto satellite. King Controls graciously sent me all the parts that I could replace myself on an a "refundable if they do not solve the problem" basis. I did the replacements but, they did not solve the problem. Their suggested alternative is to return the entire dome to them for diagnosis and repair at $250 plus parts, plus shipping (minimum $50 each way)... or purchase a new unit.
Why keep it? I like the in-motion feature. But, the prospect of spending up to $500 or more for repairs is a bit out of the question.
So I am hoping that there is someone out there that has one of these units available as a result of up-grading to a different system.
I have checked with a couple of dealer/installers to see if they have any "Take Offs". But the ones I spoke with do not want to bother with it. Meanwhile, I am limping along with a Vu-Cube but I prefer the dome.
I am in North CA now. Heading to Coburg and other points in OR, then, Seattle, WA Any solutions, leads or ideas would be appreciated.

I have a trac star with tow direct tv boxes complete for $300.00 I went with a slimline I am in southern California

What model are the Direct TV Boxes?..If Daron does not want them. I might take them if they are an upgrade from mine. I presently have the H20 and I already burned/destroyed one.
