Ruptured Hydraulic Hose

I have an 2007 Country Coach Intrigue 12153, CAT C-13. I have (this afternoon) a ruptured hydraulic hose that is fed off the large black cylinder (with the 3 filters) at the curb rear of the coach. The leak is near the radiator fan mount.
What systems does it provide AFT for? I'm thinking the fan and power steering. Right? Wrong? Other systems?

The HWH Slide System appears fine.

On my SOB it was fan and power steering.
I had a similar problem on the way home from Alaska, pulling out of MukLuk Annie's. I think that was in the Yukon about 50 miles from the middle of nowhere on Friday July 1 (a Canadian holiday).
Got mine fixed at a small convenience store, like an AM/PM attached to a small motel.
It only cost me about $250 for the hose, labor and 5 gallon bucket of AW 45 hydraulic fluid. What a happy surprize.

You have too new of a coach to have that happen. We ruptured ours two years ago, but our coach was 16 years old at the time. Interesting to drive a coach with no power steering! Of course once we hit an uphill, the engine got hot and we found a place to pull over. Cost us $874 to relace hose at Empire Cat in Phoenix. I already recmmended to a friend with the same year coach to have the hose replaced. With your experience, perhaps it should be replaced on some newer coaches also. Nobody enjoys getting stranded!

It is the power steering and fan. I had the same thing.

On our coach they said it was because of the way it was installed and that all the weight of the hose assembly was hanging on the fitting. The repair has a little longer one that is supported now.

Lee here reporting back. We are back on the road.
Turns out the compression fitting on the line into the back side of the radiator fan mount body housing vibrated loose. That section is curved like a 'C' with both ends pointing toward the rear of the coach, so it's not visible from the rear engine compartment doors. It also is not even close to any other object to abraid. Taking off the bedroom engine access covers (a real PITA) reveled all. The fitting was snugged up tight, the reservoir refilled and the engine started up. No leak! The fitting sure does vibrate, thus 55,000 mile loosened it up. From the bedroom its an easy area to view and reach with a 7/8" wrench. You'll also need a steam power wash.

Watch you're parking spots in the left rear corner behind the tag for early leaking. At that point your time is short, less than 1,000 miles, before you're going to get a gusher.

Thanks to all for comments and confirmation that we're dealing with the fan and power steering systems. I did even think about moving the coach and also worried about a fire. Jeanne and I can be thankful it gushed while in an FJ.

Onward to the next problem!
