I keep looking for this on my 2006 Allure to no avail.
Is there such a device on my coach to set my coffee cup on while driving.

The federal gov't made them stop installing the trays sometime in late 04 or 05 as it caused a distraction to the driver. I used mine to support my PC in the begining for silver leaf and gps. Now I use it for my Magellan 7" GPS.

I have an 07 Inspire that came from the factory with one. I use it all the time.

I love these trays...but alas my 06 Allure does not have one. Were they available on any coach, or just some higher end models?
I would LOVE to make one (i have access to a very nice CNC router), but not sure how to fasten it and make it swivel. What did they use for the mount...3/4" bolt through the dash with fender washers on both sides? :-)

Mary

What does it look like and where does it swing out from? Maybe it's there and I don't see it!

These seem to be very functional! I wish my 2006 Allure had one! I've seen pics of them and have thought about making/replicating it.
How is it attached? 3/4" bolt with big fender washers on each side? :-)

I just put up 3 pictures on the Photo section under SWING OUT TRAY. Ours is on a CC Prevost but the build is basically the same. Yes, the gold anodized mounting bracket has 6 rather large screws going into the dash and on the other side there is plenty of "lumber" to mount and hold it. The large wooden knob, yes its wooden on the top of the bracket has a metal recessed area underneath to screw down and hold the tray in position. The biggest problem we had was the recess area on the wood where the metal plate, with a welded nut, would loosen. We had to fill in the recess on the wooden knob with some rather strong wood glue and then remount the metal plate. Works fine now.
BTW, we have our Prevost for sale at www.waltersconsultants.com/prevost.

I will post some pictures of the inner workings later today. I would think CC would stock the parts you need.
