RS 2000 xantrex Bulk vs float

WE are dry camping, have 2000 xantrex. When I turn on the genset after being off for a number of hours. The window tells me the charger is on float, yet the batteries were down to 12.1...How do i get it to go to bulk...For the first 4 years, it would go to bulk, asop, then to float. Any help getting go to bulk...
