My name is Dr. Jim Waterfield. I bought a CC Allure in year 2000, hkad a fabulous 11 years of RVing but Age caught up with me so now I have lot of great memories. I am going to sell my coach soon I hope and I have 2 questions. Fiirst, do yuou have any suggestions how to sell a coadh? I live in Slpringfield, Missouri. WE do have a camping world here. Second, after I start tryuing to find a buyer I would like to tell them about the owners grouyp since the factory is long gone. CC built great coaches and I felt prveleged to won one, . Jim, there are about 10 Country Coach Clubs. Just look at the Country Coach Corporation website and look in the 'Destinations' magazine.

Hello Jim

Please do not consign your coach with Camping World. I'm now in a $500,000 law suite because their "Big Rig" expert wrecked my coach in the Camping World parking lot (during the first test drive), injuring the passenger. Camping World claims no responsibility! Most likely the same with all consignment lots, IMHO. Best to sell through one of the web site, like RVT.com.

I would recommend you try to sell it yourself on one of the internet sites. As mentioned, rvt.com is one, rvonline.com and countrycoachrvsource.com are a couple of others. Take a look at the pictures on these sites to see how to best highlight your coach, and look for similar units to set a reasonable price, and give it a try. Nadaguides.com also gives suggested prices. Try a price, and if it doesn't sell after a couple of months, lower the price. Sooner or later you will find an interested buyer.
As far as Country Coach goes, even though they went bankrupt in 2010, one of the original owners bought the intellectual property, to include build sheets and original fiberglass forms for coaches--they had the form for mine when our coach was damaged earlier this year. They also have a parts department, where you can order anything that is still available for a Country Coach, and they have an outstanding service department, as I can personally attest to. The owner is also working on securing capital to restart production of coaches. You can assure a prospective buyer that they will have factory support for issues that may come up.
