Norcold Class Action

I have seen some posts on this and apart from Zimmermans class action PDF I have not been able to find out where things are at. Is it just a money spinner for the lawyers? Or will all Norcold customers get relief?
Several years back I was registered in a class action with Cat over their painful 3196 engine (became the C12 in everything but name) in the marine environment and its problem after cooler. There was a lot of action and suddenly the key protagonists went deathly silent. No more response emails or postings on every web site you came across.
Me thinks that they got a big chunk of money to cease and desist, which as the motivators of the action meant that the action did as well. Of course all the other engine owners, some 6000 saw nothing. Whilst admittedly I did nothing other than sign up with my engine numbers I did reduce my pressure on CAT (which at that point had involved the removal of the engines and a complete rebuild at the CAT dealer).

So a bit wary of any results here?

I'm due to call them and see what's going on. Last email I sent didn't get responded to. I did receive a letter, however, some months ago.
Compensation is for the refrigerator only as I understand things. And as you point out, that may be a long way off if at all.
