PTO Wet Kit Inspection

Shortly after I bought my 2005 Inspire 21/2 years ago I installed the PTO wet kit. At that time my coach had 20k miles on it. The power take off female shaft as well as the mating hydraulic motor male shaft both had about 35%, estimated, wear on them. The PTO wet kit does not address the pump's shaft. I've always been concerned as to weather the wet kit would stop any further wear on the shafts. Yesterday, after 21/2 years and 14k miles I separated the pump from the PTO for inspection. I'm happy to report there was no noticeable additional wear on the pump shaft and the PTO shaft looked as good as the day I installed it.
My personal conclusion is that the wet kit not only lubricates the shafts properly but also appears to stop any further wear to the shafts.
I took a few pics as evidence, unfortunately my camera focused on the housing instead of the shafts.
Happy Travels,
