Panasonic LCD TV

Yahoo Message Number: 93688
Hello everyone,

The front TV is a Panasonic LCD TV that was installed at time of purchase. Model TC-32LX20. When I turned it on yesterday to watch the game, there was no sound and no picture with a message on the screen 'Service Temporary not available'. The TV turns on and I can see the program information. I turned on the Bedroom TV and all worked just fine, I watch the game. Can I assume that because I was able to watch in the Bedroom TV and the error message and program info appeared that all my satellite connection are working.

I think that my next step is to call a TV Repair service but before I do maybe someone has a suggestion?

Thank you kindly,

Not sure, but that sounds like your TV Box (Dish/Direct) has been inactivated... did you try pushing the red button on the box and see if you can see the TV?

Unplug the TV by turning off the two 50 amp 120 VAC breakers for more than a minute to reboot the TV logic. Are using separate satellite receivers? If so when you turn off the AC the satellite receivers will recycle in addition. Make sure your inverter is turned off too, or the reset won't work.

Does your front and back TV work off the same receiver or is each TV assigned to its own separate receiver? Have you tried turning the front receiver on and off or unplugging it and plugging it back in?
