Rv Park near Scottsdale, Az. - A caution for dog owners

Joseph unconditionally recommended the Desert Edge RV Park, however:
Dog owners beware... Desert Edge appears to be a pretty nice RV park that nominally accepts pets (so they state on the first page of their web site). However, when we checked the "details" it turns out they discriminate against a number of dog breeds and do not allow them in their park. Breed Discrimination is just that: "discrimination." It is not based on facts, it is simply an unreasonable action taken against dogs whose individual behavior has not been determined by the park. It's often done because someone thinks a particular breed "looks scary." While it is entirely appropriate for any establishment to refuse to allow uncontrolled or dangerous animals on their premises, such decisions should be made based upon the behavior of the individual dog, not his breed. Please do not support such discrimination by patronizing this establishment.
While it is a little farther from Scottsdale (maybe 30 minutes), we highly recommend Pueblo El Mirage (Pueblo El Mirage RV Resort | Arizona RV & Golf Resort | Phoenix RV ) - they have great facilities, friendly residents and a welcoming, supportive management team.

Enjoy Arizona,
Bill
