Oil Pressure - ECM - Wiring?

Yahoo Message Number: 94342
Greetings grease monkeys!

(C-9, 2004 batch) On the second start up of the day (after about eight hours since first start), the engine shut itself down after about 10 seconds and I had a flashing engine warning light. I restarted and saw zero oil pressure on Silverleaf, but normal OP on analog gauge. Engine shut down again, with flashing engine warning, as before. On third start, Silverleaf showed oil pressure "pegged" max (128 psi); analog was still reading normally. Engine ran fine (no caution lights or shutdown). I shut it down with the key and restarted. Silverleaf now showed normal oil pressure and engine ran fine.
Silverleaf diagnostics logged two low oil pressure events and one high pressure event.
I surmise my oil pressure was always normal, but the ECM thought otherwise.
Question: Is there a wire directly from the engine oil pressure sensor to the ECM (in addition to the wire to the analog gauge up front)? I'm hoping a dirty connection is the culprit. (Following my own advice a couple of weeks ago, I checked the ground connection on the chassis battery - clean.) Does this sound like an internal problem in the ECM? Any advice from you experts would be greatly appreciated.
