New member Intro

Good evening, My name is Denny Bird. I'm a long time owner of a 2001 36ft Intrigue and this is my first visit to the group. We have really enjoyed our coach and spend 7 months a year on the road. The one Issue I have now is the aft heat exchanger does not work and I can't find it. Does anyone know where it is located. Thanks Denny

I can't help but you might try reposting with the request for help in the subject.
Are you talking about a heat exchanger for Hurricane furnace?

Welcome to the gang, and we'll look forward to your helping us too:)!

I too do not know where the exchanger is in your coach. Most of the ones I've seen have them behind the vents. (Our Allure has the exchangers behind the vents 1) Kitchen baseboard cabinet, 2) Bathroom baseboard cabinet 3) Under the front dash.

Some have retrofitted different fans to them, to reduce the noise. Pictures should be able to be found the picture section.

And another good source for info, is Roger Berkes site. He is a guru on Aqua/Hydro Hot systems, and that sometimes ties in with the heating.

Hello everyone.

I just joined this group. It was recommended by a friend as the place to find answers to everything CC.
My story:

The DW and I can't wait to go full timing. Our time frame is about 5 years from now. I will be buying a used RV. IMO, no need to spend the money on new. Plenty of excellent used coaches out there. Whatever is outdated in the coach can always be replaced. I'm looking for at least 550 hp, 1500 lbs-ft of torque, class A, with plenty of CCC. I will installing a custom solar system, so need the chassis to hold the weight of lots of batteries and solar panels. I will be towing a Jeep Wrangler 4 door.
The DW is looking for 1.5 baths, heated floors, full size refrigerator. I'm looking for a sturdy frame and chassis and documented repair history.
Looking forward to reading the great information in this forum.
