Engine won't crank

O.K. friends. Just a shot in the dark here. We were at a rally in Henderson, Louisiana this week. Great fun, by the way and great people!! When we were getting ready to head home, hubby went to start the engine, it just cranked and cranked, would not turn over. Good batteries. We had a tech come out and look at it, hooked the cummins engine up to a computer, and it said the "middle rail was only getting 300 psi pressure, rather than 1700". Possibly a lift pump or injector, they said. We had it towed, and are now waiting for the mechanics to look at it. But, is there any other reason that the machine might not start? We called Country Coach, and they said to look and make sure the "kill switch" was not compressed. Well, we just cannot find a Kill switch on this coach. It is a 2010 Inspire with 425 cummins.
So, far, it is looking like a long weekend in a Lafayette truck shop to me. I hope I get lucky, and someone says, Oh yea. What about switch x?!!!! Allan & Kay Neubauer

Thanks to Whit and Kathy Byers for a great week !!! We appreciated your help and friendship!

Allan & Kay:

The engine "Kill Switch" (Emergency Stop Button) should be located inside the engine compartment on the ceiling, square box with a big red button.

I don't know where all he looked, but I will tell Allan that. I know he had the guys on the phone from CC , and still did not find it. It was not where they told him it would be, and they were looking in the engine box. Would they make one without a kill switch?? Kay

That is interesting! We were under the impression they all did, and we could not find it! The computer says lift pump works from computer, but not from ECM. Nore diagnostics waiting to find out why ECM doesn't control lift pump. We are forced to leave coach at a diesel shop in Lafayette!!! Ohhhh. Can't sleep well! Kay n Allan 52175 2010 Inspire

On my mechanical diesel, that symptom usually relates to the fuel shutdown solenoid not opening. (I have a nearly broken wire in the run somewhere).
I am not sure if the computerized engines of your vintage with electric fuel pump have a similar solenoid.
