HWH Air bag brain location 2000 Magna

I've been reading about air bags not staying at ride height and the method of removing the 7.5 amp fuse from the HWH control box to prevent the height from changing once you've set the ride height manually. There must be more Intrigues out there because all of the posts I've seen say the control box is behind the dash panel in front of the passenger seat. Not so for my 2000 Magnan; nor

the compartment under the drivers seat that has the air pump for leveling while parked, nor the rear compartment with the Hurricane furnace.

Anyone know where the control box is located? I'm hoping it is not behind the kick panel under the dash at the driver's feet.

Pete,

The HWH control panel is located behind a panel in the first bin behind the fuel tank. Several components are in this compartment including the surge protector, slide pump and the HWH control panel, HWH level sensor and fuses.
I have to pull the slide tray out on the passenger side, lay down on it and slide into the compartment. Remove the door. The HWH controls are mounted on the wall on the passenger side of the compartment.

Thanks don. I called Kevin Waite and he says it is there and I got an email from Fred Sage that says it is in that compartment. Now all I have to do is get enough stuff off my slide tray so I can gain access to the space. I'm thinking of wiring a switch across the fuse in question so I don't have to be rubber man to lock the ride height if needed.

Guys,

Pull the slide out on the curb side, go around to the driver's side, and crawl in.

Thanks again to all for help in locating the brain and for the previous posts on how to overcome a ride height issue by removing the 7.5 amp fuse or wiring a switch in to disable that circuit. I chose to add a switch.

I purchased an inline fuse holder from Autozone and used 3M spade connectors to plug into the existing fuse location. I had to file down the spade connectors slightly so they would be narrow enough to match the legs on the fuse. I recommend 3M spade connectors because they are solid copper. My cheap Harbor Freight spade connectors are made by folding over the thin metal to make them thick enough for the female connector and when you file the edges down, a portion of the folded metal comes off and the connector is no longer thick enough to make a good connection. A hole was drilled in the bottom of the HWH box, a rubber grommet installed and the wires were run out to a switch located just inside my compartment door.

Now that I'm prepared for the occasion when the ride height goes nuts I fully expect to never need to use the switch. Something like the guy that buys a snow plow for the front of his truck and then it doesn't snow all winter.
