Hi All,

On Monday I had the turbo boost quit on my coach and since I don't have the software for it (it is 2500 bucks) I needed to find a shop that could pull the info so we could figure it out. I found Roadmasters 24 Hour Truck Care in Hendersonville, NC 828-693-3477 or 828-699-0333. They offered to come to the coach or check it at their shop. I made it to the shop, fun (long slow) trip in the mountains with no boost. He put the computer on it and saw the codes. He asked me to help diagnosis it, we did a few mechanical checks. At this point he said yup, its the VPOD. You can pull it off or I can. We can usually revive them by cleaning and drenching with WD40. I got him to pull the VPOD, did not feel like changing clothes etc. He pulled it, we cleaned and flushed it with WD and he reinstalled it. Made a couple of mechanical checks and we determined it was alive and well. He cleared all the codes and we were done.
I asked him what I owed him and he said $100.00. Most places 100 bucks just to pull codes. He is good honest and knows what he is doing.
I said I would really like to have the software, but for one engine it is pricey. He told me how to find it pretty reasonable, since I do not need the current version.
I have no interest in his operation, but This is worth keeping if you ever get to that area and need something.
