Water damage, repair facility near Tombstone/Tucson AZ?

1998 Country Coach Intrigue

Washing machine burst a pipe(?) last night during a load. Water has soaked carpet in bedroom, run through ducting to kitchen area, and flooded most of the bays including the battery bay. I can't tell if any cabinetry is damaged, but I'm sure sub-floor in bedroom is. There is also water on the slide-base.

Any suggestions on repair or assessment facilities?

Just had our refer replaced in Tucson after Wintering in Mesa. Very pleased with Premier RV in Tucson. They are always super busy, but Eric Olstrom runs a great shop. Highly recommended,

See my personal message to you. Immediately get a Water Damage Restoration/Cleanup company involved. They will bring out carpet vacs, fans, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a dehydrator that will remove 100 qts of water per day from the air as the carpet dries. They will also use a probe to test the carpet, pad and wood below for dryness, without removing the carpet. Drying may take 2-3 days.

These companies are available 24 hours per day for damage control.

Do your best to dry it up, it might take a while depending on your location. Once it dries out you'll be able to determine what's happened. If it's created problems, then get ahold of your insurance and find a repair shop that can do the work for you.
I've seen many coaches that have had/been thru what you've described. Sometimes it does damage to the sub-floor, sometimes not. Being that most coaches have OSB sub-floors the real issue is how it was installed. We've seen some where it was fastened down correctly (like in a house, nailed on 16"? or so center and perimeter) and some that aren't. Such as under floor heat ducting, so where it wasn't fastened correctly it can bulge up or down - thus creating a soft spot in the floor.

PS - Same exact thing happened to my personal coach. Came home and the water pump was running, found a fitting inside the washer that had busted and the pump sucked the full fresh water tank onto the floor of the coach. That was over 6 years ago, yes the carpet has been changed since then, but that wasn't because of the flood - that was because I hate carpet in a coach. When we pulled the carpet, yes there was signs that water had been there but no soft spots, a quick sand, applied KILTZ, then prepped for the new floor.

My Magna has marine grade plywood subflooring so a flood is not a problem as far as that goes. Cannot speak for what you have.

Its good advice. I let a sink over flow once. Fortunately the water spilled directly on the floor and ran out under the slide. So clean up was fairly simple when done by the pros. Another time I hadn't tightened the fitting to the ice maker and the water ran down and out behind the refer but a small amount drained down to the floor damping about 3 square feet of carpet. That left a small discoloration about 1 " diameter that I have to this day. You can't see the spot unless you look for it; but, its there.

Bad ECM

I have a stand alone Silverleaf (200 I think) and was not getting any readings. When I took the motorhome in for its annual service at the Oasis RV Center in Tolleson, AZ I asked them to check the data ports to see if they could get a reading. Long story short, after tracing wires and other trouble shooting, they eventually hooked the computer up to the ECM directly and get NO readings. I will be having the module replaced. It isn't cheap! Are there questions/concerns that should be addressed?

As stated try and get a hard copy of the ECM to see if you have any codes in the memery plus how many miles do you have on youe coach. I just had my valves adj, at 20k and they printed out an 8 page folder with 3 code. Nothing big but still 3 codes. Tells me how many gallons of fuel used from day one and real time on the coach. I run the SilverLeaf 330 and love it.
