Hard brakes

I have my new to me 2001 CC Allure in for detailing as well as a general inspection. One complain I had is that you really have to press on the brakes compared to a car. Friends of mine with diesel pushers told me that it should be just as easy as your car brakes. The place I took it to said they drove it and thought they were fine and commented that I'm not used to air brakes. Your comments please- this is a 32' coach.

One we noticed as we test drove different coaches, brake pedal that hangs and swings like auto works just like auto. One that brake pedal is mounted to floor you need to have your foot right up against it, including your heel, then it works much better, had this with gas pedal too.

I had that complaint about my 36' 98 Allure. My 2004 Intrigue with a Tag does a much better job. I had two cars get together in front of us one time while doing 55 mph. Between the M&G system on the Honda and the brakes on the coach, I literally stopped on a dime. You could see steam coming off the tires and pavement when I got out. And there were no skid marks.
