I have heard the same thing about the battery life. I called the tire guy in Junction City and he said that each cost about $80 to replace. That does not include the labor to remove the tire, deflate the tire, change the battery and reinstall the tire. Times 8, Whew..could be costly.
While traveling, I try and keep about 15 gals of water as we travel, if I park maybe for lunch or such and at an angle where the water is away from the pump the pump comes on and runs continuously, unless I go out and turn the pump off at the main switch at the water bay. That is the annoying part of this minor problem. Just looking to see if anyone had this problem and might have fixed it.

Dave, we have the same year Allure with same Smart Tire monitoring system. Mine seems to come alive pretty quickly and I get readings from all 8 tires, even when sitting still. I have read that the battery life in the sensors is about 6 -7 years so I am thinking they will start dying soon. If they do, I am not sure what I will do. I understand the systems is no longer in production so not sure we have the option to replace sensors.
On the pump, any of the push buttons in our coach (two in bath area, one at galley) will turn the water pump on or off. I do know the water pump rocker switch in the wet bay is in the 'off' position and all my interior switches work as described.
