Front roof a/c leaking when ever compressor cuts off

Yahoo Message Number: 95911
Looking for help trying to figure this out. Coach is a 99 intrigue as far as I know there are no drain lines on this year coach. It has leaked on the floor every since I have owned it. It has been very hot her in FL this trip. The compressor cuts off and I get a stream of water leaking from main vent the one I keep closed so air will come out duct vents. Any ideal will be appreciated.

Our 99 Magna had two drain lines that you can under the coach. I vacuumed them out with a shop vac a few times a year. On our coach they were front drivers side forward of the tire and on the rear passenger side. You are looking for the end of a 1/2" black hose.
The other thing that helps is to take the cover off the a/c unit and tighten the "J" brackets a little. We did have to change the gasket once. The water builds up with high humidity and collects in the tray. If the vent is clogged it has no where to go.
Hubby just said someone had told him to try leaving the main vent open while cooling would help??

If you take off the cover on the roof, you will see a long copper tube. If you run the a/c while you are doing this, you will see condensation forming on this tube and dropping down into the unit. Some units have an insulation cover and some do not.
Take some a/c cork or insulation tape and insulate this tube. This should lower the amount of condensation on this tube and possibly increase the efficiency of the unit.

Jon,

I will give it a try! I have had the gasket replaced and I can find no drain lines so it cannot hurt. Thanks for your response!
