No power from house battery bank after I crossed the negative to po

I have not found any fuse in the battery compartment. The manual indicate the fuse is on the positive side and in the battery compartment I have a 1996 affinity
Cat 350 with 55000 miles

The engine starts fine but alternator does not charge and I have 0 volt on the positive cable.
Could that be part of a burnt out fuse? Any help would be appreciated I thank you in advance

It looks like the fuse on the block pictured above.

I suspect yours is wired the same way.

It will only affect the house batteries.
I also have a battery isolator mounted in the engine compartment passenger side on the outside of the battery compartment wall.

That could have failed?
