Galley Sink Leak

Has anyone had a leak in the Slide-out Galley Sink? It is not leaking in the coach but underneath the slide. Does anyone know how to get to the plumbing under there? Thanks much!

Yes. Had same problem with my 2000 Affinity. Extend the galley slide. Go outside. Should be a clear Lucite/plastic panel. Remove panel. There should be a bundle of hoses. Some are plumbing some are hydraulic lashed together with zip ties. The flex PVC is probably worn . u will have to cut zip ties separate hoses from flexible PVC. Look for defects. Get high quality tubing cutter because working space is limited. Cut defects out. I cut as close to glued PVC joint as possible allowing enough PVC extension to glue coupling s or hose clamp coupling s to. U can either re glue or get rubber couplings with hose clamps. If using hose clamps make sure the are clear of hydraulic hoses. Rebind with zip ties and replace clear plate. Lance 2000 Affinity 5873

I had a leak in my sink drain. Where the flex hose was connected to the house plumbing just aft of the slide. My leak pooled in the area just under the floor on top of a plexiglass piece. It then leaked into the basement and on out to the ground.

The repair was made by removing a panel at the top of the compartment just behind the slide. The panel faces out. The tech cut the hard plumbing and added a short extension so the flex could be inserted into the pipe further. Lots of glue applied and then let everything sit for several hours so glue could cure. No leak sense.

The tech accessed the area under the sink by removing a small plexiglass piece, about 6X4 inches that can be seen when the slide is extended. Lots of wire ties holding all the "plumbing" hoses together within the space but he was able to get one hand/arm into the opening to remove wire ties and then replace them after the repair.
