New to me Magna

We just purchased a 1998 Magna in showroom condition. It's in Florida and we can't get it home to Ct for a month. This sits on a Gillig chassis and has a Detroit series 40 engine. I think they also refer to it as a 466. I don't know much about this engine anyone shed done light on it for me. Also what kind of mpg these engines get. It's a 36 footer single slide.
