Keeping exterior washed

We are on a long road trip and the coach needs a bath. Most of the other coaches we pass on the road are nice and clean. I would like to know how the Country Coach folks deal with washing the coach while traveling. Most of the campgrounds don't allow coach washing and the boondock places have no facilities either. I was thinking of some truck wash places but we have solar panels, TV dish and other antennas on the roof so I was worried about those getting damagedAny suggestions would be appreciated. We've had good luck at truck washes. Most of them don't use machines scaled up from car washes. Blue Beacon is a chain with locations scattered around the country.http://www.bluebeacon.com/locationinformation/locationlist/Some RV dealers and/or repair places offer washing. Also, campgrounds often will refer mobile washing services to you that they allow to operate in their parks. Occasionally you'll find a campground with a separate wash rack. Orange Grove RV Park near Bakersfield, CA, comes to mind. But we've stayed in others that would allow washing on site, like Phoenix RV Park in Salem, OR, though as you say, most don't. I have used DryWash for the last three coaches I owned. No water and after a coat or two, the coach stays much cleaner on the road as well. I've always been a paste wax guy, but about 6-7 years ago, tried the product and it made me a believer. No silicones, and all you need to carry is a good supply of terry towels. Wipe dirt directly off without scratches and streaking - no way I thought; but now I'm a believer,

Same here, been on the road since June 6 and I hate a dirty coach. I am using Wash Wax All system and very satisfied with it. Works great and leaves enough wax (or whatever is in the stuff) that water beads and the coach looks great. Whenever we can, I do a regular hose and wash with my Swobbit gizmo but I have only done that twice, both times at a RV park in Kansas City that allows it. Most do not.
I have never used Blue Beacon. I did see a coach that was washed at a similar truck wash in Ontario, OR and it looked terrible when done. Lot's of streaking and water spots on the coach when done.

I use Blue Beacon most of the time. I also have a few spots that do truck washes by hand, but they are few and far between. Blue Beacon is not detailing, but gets it clean.

Many of the RV parks and wash racks have very hard water so it does leave a lot of water spots. Sometimes I wash it in the rain if it is warm enough out. I have tried the Dry Wash and it works great but it takes a lot of elbow grease and this time our coach is really dirty. I will try the truck wash as recommended next time I am near one. One other possibility is some parks allow mobile wash companies to wash your rig in park.
We have seen these companies mostly in places with lots of regular customers and longer stays, like Palm Springs.

I get mine through a guy Ron/Karen Kiraly; telephone 520-431-0005; they will ship direct and usually cheaper than via internet. Like I said, I've always been a wax guy for over 40 years and this stuff does the trick. Keeps it clean, and it seems to repel the dirt as well when we travel. Used it over 6 years now and it still baffles my mind that you can clean the dirt right off and leave it without streaks/scratches. If it's really muddy, I'll wash it with just water, but they say you don't even need to do that and I have done it just to see and it does work. You'll just need a lot more terry towels because they get so dirty if the coach is really bad.

I believe the product is the DriWash ( from the website you sent) and Guard, but check with Ron or Karen

Joseph, I have used Dri Wash and Guard, a similar product called No Wet and the Wash Wax All product. They all work well. I have two gallons of No Wet at home that I use on my cars, the boat and the RV when at home. However, the reason I really like the Wash Wax All system is it includes not only the waterless cleaning liquid but also a long handled wet/Dry mop that lets you do the entire coach from the ground.
