Help No 12 volt Power all of a sudden

Hi everyone,

this morning we got ready to leave Brookings Oregon, it was raining and I had to quickly pack up everything, dump, unplug and hook up my jeep. Shortly after getting on the road we realized that we had no power to the slid step, entry step, lights, and everything else that runs on 12 volt power. Once we got home I checked all the fuses and breakers in the aft service bay and the front service bay. I also checked the inverter and it appeared to be running normally. . had a green light. .. I reset all the breakers etc. Can anyone out there give me some advice on what to check next. Now that we are home, I have plugged in the coach and still no interior lights, no leveling system and no power to all 12 volt systems. Help!! What should I do next???? Thank you so much

Check that the battery switch is on. It's near the entry door and easy to trip off.

I suggest that you check the house disconnect switch by your door. Might have gotten bumped in your rush to leave.

I'm not sure what you're calling the front service bay. There should be some breakers by the house batteries. If you have power past that I would check the solenoid That is activated by the house disconnect switch. Sorry for my brevity As I'm on my cell phone.

A neighbor in a 2003 Intrigue had the same problem. Turned out his problem was a blown fuse on the house "shut-off relay". One indication of the issue was the house shut-off switch light was not working.

It was a fuse on a little wire going to the relay from the shut-off switch. It had a 7.5 amp fuse, replaced it and all was good. This was after a local repair person spent two full days looking at the problem, ordering a new inverter, etc. The relay was located in a small compartment near the house batteries. It was behind a panel. Follow the main cable going from the house batteries to find the relay.

My post probably should say "solenoid" not relay.. But everything else applies.
